What makes a homepage even better? Right, the suitable music.

It was by chance we came accross the two musicians Mark White and Steffi Barthel that form the duo Cascade. He is from the USA, she is from Germany and the got to know each other in Australia. Mark taught Steffi how to play the Chapman Stick and since then they have been touring all around the world as a kind of street musicians. When they´re not on tour the write beautiful songs with celtic roots and record albums.

Who knows the Scottish Deerhound? and who knows the instrument Chapman Stick? - That´s what we thought and therefore haven´t been hesitating for long but asked the two if we might use their music for our homepage. We are allowed to! 

We use four songs out of their album "New Beginning" for our background sound: 

The headings "Introduction" and "About me" are accompanied by the song "The Knight´s Ride".

The heading "Our Deerhounds" by the titel "Highland Rain".

The heading "Litter/Litter plans" of course by "New Beginning" and

All other headings by "Whisper in the Winds"

It´s worth staying a bit longer on each page so the music can unfold it´s full beauty.
